Default Alaskan with a Gulmite problem but glad to be here.

Being an Alaskan homsteader I am a collector of many things old, most of which don't work but might be need for parts when the nearest store is 140 airmiles away.
My latest addition to old stuff is a Maytag wringer washer that has 1/2" Gulmite headed bolts holding the transmission in place. I have two other ones that don't work so I am hoping to put them all together and wash my clothes.
As most of the people on the board are interested in OLD things and as Gulmite headed bolts definitely fall into that category, I am hoping someone might point me in the right direction where I might find a wrench or socket.Maybe sockets were not available when someone came up with the idea of Gulmite headed bolts.
I am glad to be a member of Smokstak and think it provides a real service for a lot of people.
