Howdy, Randyt here. Interesting forum y'all have. My interests are old iron, babbitt bearing machines although I will use ball bearings. Grew up around a old time machine shop and sawmill business. Got hit with middle age nostalgia and decided to revisit my childhood so to speak.

Here's a photo of a rig my granddad and dad built in 1960 from a 1946 or so dodge truck.

Welcome randyt from another wolverine. Are you at the tip of the "mitt" or the tip of the "thumb" ? I guess that that rig is a water well driver.

Thanks for the welcome fellas.

I'm from the tip of the mitt. The puddle jumper is a forklift and winch.
