I am working on getting a 22 Advance lap seam through the inspection process and was wondering if anyone had already calculated heating surface. I don't have the engine right near so it would be a great help

thanks

Old rule of thumb is 10 sqft of heating surface / hp. Your advance likely has about 220 sqft of heating.

Per Advance brochure for a 20/22 hp Universal: 32" barrel. Firebox 49" X 27" 35" above grates. 46 2" flues. You can take it from there. :)
