I know that the wmb has a deeper sump with a splash oil system just wondering if crank and connecting rod will swap out

Re: briggs wm/wmb crank ?

I don't know of any difference in the WM and WMB crankshafts. The WMB does not have a deeper sump. The WI and WMI have deeper sumps. Does your WM have an oil pump? They had oil pumps, but Briggs had a TSB to remove the pump and add an oil slinger to the rod.
