I have a champion 400 blower and would like to restore it. It's all there
but the threaded dust covers. Does anybody know where I can get
them?

Re: champion 400 blower

1. Ask around/advertise, might get lucky
2. Parts blower
3. Duct tape and/or beer can end
4. Fabricate something that works

Restore, in the strict sense of the word, means to bring back to initial condition using authentic parts. Model A Ford restoration fanatics search out new old-stock bolts to use in restorations. And these bolts are graded for "points" during restoration judging. My IHC Model M 3 hp, with an authentic-in-appearance-and-operation reproduction fuel pump from Hit-n-Miss, is rebuilt.

If restore, #1-2. If rebuilt, #1-4.

We Are Blacksmiths, and make our own parts. I fabricated a missing dust cap for my #300 from brass drain pipe

thanks I'll keep my eyes open. the cap would be easy but it needs
threads that's the problem.
