I've been watching Matt Verley's procedure for converting an MEP004A 15 KW 3-Phase generator to single phase. I would like to do the same with an MEP004B generator. I believe the only difference between the generators is the engine. The MEP004A has an Isuzu engine and the MEP004B has a Yanmar engine. Is the procedure for converting to single phase the same for the MEP004B as for the MEP004A?

Nope, he means a MEP-004B, I believe the b model had the electronic governor, or some such. 15 kW 120/208 or 240/416. 804's came along a little later.

I did a similar one once. You have to figure out where the sensing leads go and what parts are expecting to see what voltage to be sure they are still getting their expected voltage when you do the change. Otherwise they are usually similar.

The TM-5-6225-464-12 states White/Hercules D-198-ERX51 Diesel engine. If anyone is interested, I have a full set of manuals for this set, if anyone is interested in obtaining a set of manuals. It also has a Voltage Reconnection Board to reconect for 120/208 voltage to 240/416 voltage. I have over 200 original Military TM's and have never seen a manual for a MEP-004B. I will look on the "Liberated Manuals" website to see if a MEP-004B is listed as he has over 4000 TM's listed.

If you make a search for an MEP-004A on YouTube, look for Matt Verley 01/31/12 and he shows how to rewire for 120/240 single phase.
