Yikes! The spring on the governor/carb. I wonder if he has the original carb with it. Gotta see where it is in Wisconsin. Might have friends in low places. You want it Keith?

It has been molested, so a thorough look over would be good. Maybe the usual caveat about running and generating vs cold metal etc... :O

The spring on the governor lever looks like a spring from a screen door.

No air filter, cylinder cooling shroud missing, maybe not right carb either. Stil, not a bad starting point. Have fun trying to get the governor to work with thet spring! For all that's wrong, seems a little pricey to me.

Thanks.. I got a good chuckle with that spring :) Looks like one of those $11 Carter-N clone carbs, good to 12HP

I'd buy it for $50-75 :shrug:
