A really short notice for those who are interested in these Big Twin Cams as the auction is this coming weekend Aug 4-5. This 20-35 was built shortly after the first production run of 100 "Shortfenders". Note no valve cover vents or oilers sticking out of the hood which is a pretty good clue that this one has aluminum valve covers and oil pan. While the carb is not original the Holley All Fuel intake manifold is and it would really be interesting if it still retains the matching exhaust manifold as those are really rare. Something has been changed on the steering as the arm on the sector shaft should point down...not up!. Rear fenders are a nice example of the early bead pattern. My estimate on the serial number is in the 3300 to 3400 range.

If someone is so inclined it would be great to see some pictures of the other side....s/n also.

Phil...This ones for you! ;)

Mark, if you look at Wallis in next pic you get a decent exhaust side view of TC.
Adam...thanks for noticing that. The exhaust manifold used on this 20-35 is the left side of a Hotspot manifold set that utilized the Wheeler-Schebler carb. The exhaust manifold used with the Holley carb heating coil set up is different. To date I only know of 1 Big Twin Cam that still retains the early style and that's #3371 in Cloquet MN.

Jeff...Prices were shared in a related thread. The Twin City went 5800.00 and the Case car parts pile brought 11,000.00....Canadian $.

Mark doesn't the 20-35 at Rollag have a Holley on it? Maybe it has incorrect exhaust. The Cloquet TC came from Western ND originally.

Adam...You are correct that #3353 at Rollag has the original Holley All Fuel carb on it. The exhaust manifold as I remember it was off a Hotspot set up...however I failed to get a picture of it.

#1...Holley carb on #3353. Carb is correct but the air cleaner plumbing is not. Note the governor butterfly valve has large flanges top and bottom. When the Wheeler-Schebler carb is used this valve has a smaller bottom flange.

#2...This is the correct air cleaner for the Holley setup but is not mounted in the original position. Originally the air horn on the Holley was placed at 90 degrees from the flange bolt center line and the air cleaner was mounted directly on it.

#3...Vintage photo showing the correct location of parts on the RH side of the motor.

To date I know of no existing early Big Twin Cam that has the complete Holley All Fuel set up as originally installed....the Holley carb with the correct manifolds.
