Eclipse inboard help needed

I have a single cylinder Eclipse inboard with a loose rod. Has anyone had one apart? I need to find out if it has a bronze rod or Babbitt or insert rod bearings. Thanks

Does not matter what they are made of, unless severely worn, just open up and remove a shim or two and re-check clearance. If it has a bronze rod and no shims, you can use some 150 grit sand paper and re-fit the clearance. In any case, you still have to get inside to see the problem. While you are in there, take the time to check the wrist pin clearance and wear too. It will save you time going back in to stop top end knock that you cannot now hear, due to the noise on the bottom end! Been there, done that!
