My father & I are headed up to Coolspring for the first time. Anything we need to know or look out for?

Re: First time @ Coolspring

You will have a great time, take rain gear and boots. If it raiins it can be muddy. Later, Jeff Smith

Re: First time @ Coolspring

Is that one we need to try, or to stay away from?
You definitely have to try the ice cream, my son and I talked about it for a good part of the eight hour trip home, GOOD stuff.

Make sure you hit all the buildings, Especially Susong and Power Tech.

There's lots of early iron everywhere so bring a camera!!

So far just lots of rain. See some iron in the parking lot of the hotel here.

If you walk around with your neck twisting around and your mouth wide open everyone will know you are a newbe. I would love to be there this weekend but I definitely will be there in the fall.

Be sure to try maple next time (my favorite). The New Holland engine powering the equipment gives it that great taste.
