Glueing Cork Gasket

Re: Glueing cork gasket

You do not need much for cork, I have used just permatex #2 with good results.

Gasgacinch From NAPA. Put a light coat on the gasket and then on the part where you want to attach it. Let it dry and get tacky then when assembled it holds very well. I have found it really locks on if you tap the gasket with a small hammer after it is put in place. AL

I use a dab of 3M weatherstrip adheasive or contact cement. Put it on, let sit a minute, place the gasket. It wont move.
