I Need a Blacksmith for a Reproduction

I'd like to reproduce this piece (in reverse) to bring a horsedrawn bobsled back to use. Material measures 1/2" x 1 5/8" thick/wide. The 1 pictured needs forge repair too. I can provide the material.

I'm hoping the guys at the rainesville indiana show see this post. they got a good size group of smiths there during the 3 day show and maybe they could work it then. its a good engine show, i go every year for the 3 days. i don't expect to get it done for nothing, they may have a hammer in there too?

When you say "forged" do you mean the forge weld at the eye? It's a rather simple piece except for that. It appears that you have what may be a bigger problem in a broken cast iron runner.
