Yes but you have a collectible piece of equipment now. The more time goes by the more it should appreciate. I think you did good with the money you spent. Should be easy to sell for $1000.00 any minute of any day. For me it's not about the money I love just firing them up and laying a bead! Also I would like to see the Wisconsin ID tag to determine the year it was made if you have time to send a picture.

I completely agree with you it is worth the money but it would cost way more than 1000 to buy it now and the i.d. tag is gone the Lincoln tag dates to 1953 I'm assuming engine is original it looks like it's never been apart to me

As far as motor generator separation I put new gaskets on top end of engine when I got it to make sure it was getting good clean air in
