Maybe a Jack Stand

I found this in an outbuilding. I think the end is broken off and would have been longer in length. Maybe a jack stand? Its 16 1/2" long The plate is 3 3/8" long. The screw part is 1" diameter. The lower round plate says Columbus.O.U.S.A on one side of the front surface and Ohio Tool Co. on the other side of the front surface. Thank you for any assistance in identifying this item.

Re: Maybe a jack stand

I suspect it is a screw for a vise. A handle would go through the T.
