Miniature ignition coil I wound

Here is a video showing a coil I wound. It is about the size of a c battery size and works on a voltage of 3 to 6 volts.

Not sure if I was seeing it wrong but your oiler was empty and in the off position, please give that beautiful engine a drink of oil.
Extremely nice work on your coil too.

Neat coils!
Is that Atkinson a Dave and Vince Gingery style engine or of your own design?
Very cool either way! :)
If a Gingery, Dave said it best many years ago to Keith and I at the NAMES show: "If it works, that's the right way to do it."
I cannot un-know that quote. :)
Ya, oil that cylinder.

Yes it is a Gingery design for the most part. The cylinder is also lubed with some 2 cycle oil in the fuel along with the driper. I have wound a few coils now and have come to the design I like and works well so I put the winder away with my notes. I did end up using the case off of a c sized battery. This all started as I just wanted to see if I could do it and it kind of snow balled into making a few coils lol
