OMC 1700 Mustang Q's

Hi everyone,

This skid steer loader made by Owatanna isn't real old, probably mid-70's, but I would sure appreciate some information.

It has a V-4 Ford engine with a torque converter. The fellow looking to sell it says 'throttle on the steering lever doesn't work correctly".
From what I have found, I think the 'throttle' he is talking about controls the variable speed via the torque converter.

Is this loader worth looking at? Or, is this an orphan a person should run away from?

Thanks for information and advise,
Jerry Christiansen
