Re: on the lake show

We sure missed Dave ... Heard he was working out of town.

Thanks Rod for taking the time to post all the pics and videos. I really appreciate it. I have never had any luck posting pics on here. One day this week I will have the count down... I know there are several waiting to hear what the final numbers were.

i took several videos of this fella turning his flywheel over and over. after filming a while i ask him what was the problem. he told me it didn't have any compression and he was going to have to remove the head. while filming, i noticed very small seeds in the exhaust pipe and they were gently blowing out and then sucking back into the head while he was turning the flywheel. i ask him if he stored it around a wheat field and he ask why. i then told him about the seeds in his exhaust. he looked in the exhaust pipe and said that looked like the grass seed he just bought last week. i told him that the grass seed wouldn't warrant pulling the head, and i thought it was just some seeds under the exhaust and intake valves. he got out a pair of pliers and rotated the valves. he pulled on the flywheels, it fired right up and blew grass seed all over the little water pump engine setting beside him. i told him he just evicted a family of mice, and he probably has a hole in that bag of grass seed.

That little guy made it into the video TWICE!!!:D I bet he can really make good time down the road on the lake side!:)

I looked into trying to fly up for this show but things just didn't work out. I would have loved to bring our youngest since there were horses there this time.:(

We'll try to make the next show if we can so I can help dad get out for a few days and help him with the loading and hauling.
