Saw a few hit and miss engines today.
The Rock River Thresheree is such a fantastic gathering of antique ag implement nuts. . . I can't describe how much I enjoyed myself today.

The first one here may be the biggest hit-and-miss engine I've ever seen.
The second picture is a beautiful Bessemer steam engine - it's not hooked to a boiler; I think they use an air compressor to demonstrate it.
The third picture here is one of the terrible outlaws that held up the train. The bad men came on the train and handed out candy to the little kids.
The fourth picture is an incredible Sandwich engine.
