Thats funny!
If you stop the film at the right spot you will see the Cat 60s seat is empty when it comes out of the building. Otherwise it very well would have been a fatility. :bonk:

The guy on the Cat 60 was killed and they had to chase down the tractor to get it stopped.:( This version of the film seems to be blurred or fogged up at that point so you cannot see the operator just as the roof falls. All the previous postings of this movie on YouTube where you could see the operator seem to have been removed.

Read this. http://cletrac.org/forum2010/index.php?topic=2882.0;wap2 I have heard this more than a few times.

I have a video tape on this from Cat years ago and to me it looks to be no operator on the tractor when comes out of the shed? I did not believe what I saw why I really dug into those picturer once, and my conclusion was, NO driver, when comming out of the wall

Is that a guess Junkolist, or do you actually know that the man was killed?? How do you know?

Maybe it's an urban legend, but I've heard that the operator was killed many times. Just repeating what I've heard and read. It wouldn't be all that crazy for it to happen either, considering the times.:(

I imagine that it was just this, what they were after with that stunt.
The film/video become talked about and seems to be still. Take a close look on the seq. when it brakes the wall and you will find no driver on that. Even in those days they were tricky, and I am sure, cared about their life. Why would anyone even try to??

I think we were all cheated.
