My sister and I have inherited an old peanut mill that was in operation in the early 1900's. My husband's uncle was one of the owners of the mill. He has been dead for several years now, but we remember him telling us about the large steam engine his mill had built. It is a Westinghouse Steam Engine with 200 horse power, and it is BIG. It has been kept in the mill so it is in very good condition. I am going to get more detailed information on it tomorrow, along with some photos. Does anyone know of a collector who would be interested in this engine, or an appraiser we could talk to? Thanks for any help.
