> mschreiber - at PAMA, we have some interest in sled runners, AND Galloway - we have a manure spreader that was made by Gallaway. We have one or two heavy wagons with sleigh runners instead of wheels - Warren Paulson had a thing for them. In fact, he had a horse-drawn hearse with sleigh runners that was used (per his wishes) to transport him to his final resting place. Mostly, PAMA is about maintaining the collection of artifacts Warren left us, in order to educate the public, particularly young people, about the history of agriculture and innovations in agriculture that made our lives better.

We are trying real hard to establish the 1st Saturday each month.
We had some struggles earlier this year, but we have a few months to go and we've had some success so it's not as hard to get board members to show up for it.
And, we will consider possibly moving to 2nd Saturdays next year - seems EVERYone and their brother tries for 1st Saturday for everything so there are a lot of constant conflicts.
