I don't have any Wisconsin's that old but most have worse sheet metal than that.Those pieces look easily repaired compared to most I see for the slightly newer 1's.

I might have an air vane that is a little better, I'll look this weekend. I have never found one of these in its natural state with the air vane governor still hooked up and working. And none of mine govern well with it (admittedly just idling with no load). Hopefully you will have better luck.
