There surely will be a Flea market and swap meet area and some engines for sale as Ken Wolfe will be there.

Wish i was going, but my dad will be there. He is bringing the new star of the show. Believe me you will know it when you see it. It will almost blind you in that Florida sunshine.

Re: Zolfo Springs

I'll be there most likely with the Mighty Hoyt-Clagwell 54/75.

Unfortunately, I probably won't be finished with the Hart-Parr 30-60 approximation engine with which I intend to repower the 2009 Algore Edition Green Hybrid Hoyt-Clagwell.

That is, if the creek don't rise.

Take care - Elden:wave:

Re: Zolfo Springs

Is there any connection between the 2 shows going on down there end of this month and 1st of march? they seem tobe only a few miles apart. Which is the better engine show? I can't justify a 1000 mile trip for a single show... but 2 shows i could make the argument that might stick. thanks.

Re: Zolfo Springs

I've been to both and enjoyed them both. Met a few Stak'rs at both. I got to help start the big SNOW at Fla Flywheelers, and wife spend hrs (which helped me wonder by myself) watching the horse pulls. Also met with Kenny Wolf and bought an IH upright. (Food was better of the two! BUT! A lot of flea Market!)
I really enjoyed Zulfo Springs and took my brother, glad not to usher around the wife! :D Met Elden on his little putt-around. If I was going by myself, I would choose Zulfo. I would have liked to have been an exhibitor, but the airline wouldn't permit the engine on board! But both were worth the visit. JimS in Iowa!

Re: Zolfo Springs

I've been to both shows. Both are first class.

Since "She Who Must Be Obeyed" doesn't like shows and only goes to be nice, I keep her discomfort down to a minimum by only doing Zolfo Springs now.

Re: Zolfo Show--Feb. 29-March 4

Hi Mark, Reservations were to be in by Feb. 1st. Having said that there were some empty spaces last year and I'm sure there will be again this year due to the "price at the pump!" The guy who takes care of space requests is Billy Juda--one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet! Call (863) 773.3272 tomorrow and ask to talk to Billy. Tell him I that I told you about him and see if he can get you a space near me in EX 6, or close. (The BEST thing about being near me [2nd only to the cold drinks in the bed of my truck] is that the flush toilets are VERY NEAR!)

Dave:

I'll be there with The Mighty Hoyt-Clagwell 54/75.

I may bring goobers again.

Try not to get into trouble. I get tired of bailing you out after you get yourself into political riots!:)
