Tokomaru Steam Museum - New Zealand Link Options
Old 03-19-2005 07:09:54 PM
Description: The Tokomaru Steam Engine Museum has one of the largest collections of static and live steam engines in the Southern hemisphere with over 50 exhibits and a steam train running on a loop track through the original Tokomaru station. It is almost entirely the work of one man, Colin Stevenson and, unlike almost all such enterprises in Europe, there is no large band of volunteers supporting them. On steaming days there may well be a dozen examples of live steam.
